GLAS50AD Double Sided Adhesive Glass Tape is an adhesive glass tape designed to fix reinforcing, vacuum and core materials in sandwich structures during infusion or vacuum forming processes. This double-sided adhesive tape can be used in direct contact with the laminate. GLAS50AD glass tape doesn’t change the resin flow. GLAS50AD glass tape is manufactured using a non-hazardous adhesive that is 100% resin soluble. After infusion, the fiberglass mesh serves as reinforcement.

Layer fixer Infutac

INFUTAC is a spray adhesive specifically designed for fixing reinforcement materials.

INFUTAC is designed to bond dry reinforcing materials (glass, aramid, carbon fiber, or sacrificial fabric) or similar materials for bonding to each other or to the die surface during resin infusion, vacuum forming, or the RTM process. Most importantly, INFUTAC doesn’t interfere with the curing of vinylester, polyester or epoxy* resins.

In reality, the adhesive is designed as a single part of the polymer mixture. INFUTAC is a unique system used in molding processes and is specifically designed to solve problems commonly associated with other types of adhesives such as lack of bonding, resin blocking, imperfections in the surface of the final product, etc. INFUTAC is designed to temporarily hold reinforcing materials (fabrics, mats, veils) in place immediately prior to the application of resin and/or gelcoat to produce a composite product. It can also be used in a wide variety of applications.
