Sacrificial fabrics
Full range of sacrificial fabrics: from 64 to 139 g/m², dyed and undyed, striped, polyamide or polyester, in tape or full width. These fabrics are used to impart a textured surface to the product after molding, which is necessary to improve the bonding properties, for subsequent painting and to give an aesthetic appearance to the internal surface of the product.
MP-marked sacrificial fabrics are a microporous multi-layer system used in manufacturing processes such as vacuum forming: prepreg, wet forming and thermoplastics. Perforated films are now being replaced by microporous films with very fine pores. Under vacuum, liquid (resin) cannot pass through a given material, only gases pass through.
