The use of lighter materials in the aircraft industry has reached a new level. Pre-impregnated carbon fabrics are lighter and much stronger than previous aluminum fabrics. Despite the great advantages of carbon fabrics, there is the most important disadvantage: the aircraft must have full lightning protection. This protection is provided by metal AeroMesh meshes made of aluminum and copper. Grids are laid between laminated carbon plates.

AeroMesh meshes don’t wear out due to friction and do not unravel during cutting (regardless of the shape and direction of cutting). The two most used lightning protection materials are copper and aluminum due to their physical and electrical properties. Due to their low density and high conductivity, the most effective protection occurs.

  • available in various thicknesses and sizes;
  • can be manufactured according to the technical requirements of specific consumers.
